The value of sales at Factory outlet stores in Poland, located in Warsaw, Poznan, Krakow and Gliwice, increased by 12% y/y in 2023, according to facilities operator Neinver. There was also an increase of nearly 4% in customers.

"In the past year, we have observed a strong interest in shopping at Factory outlet stores in Poland, an openness to the experience realised in the centre itself, with the possibility to quickly and easily assess the product and verify the benefits. The professional advice of the sales teams was and will certainly remain an important factor as well. Customers were buying more, as evidenced not only by an 11% increase in the average receipt, but also in the number of goods purchased per customer. Regular promotional campaigns, accompanying the permanent offer of our outlet stores, had a considerable impact on this success. It was a very good, comfortable year for our business partners - the brands present in Factory outlets," said asset management director at Neinver Magdalena Chachulska.

Strong international brands increased their presence in Factory outlets last year, such as Hugo Boss and Lacoste in Poznań or United Colors of Benetton and Change Lingerie in Gliwice. The adidas store in Warsaw's Factory Annopol has doubled in size, as has Factory Ursus. On the other hand, it has increased its sales offer at Factory Poznań by almost half this year, the material mentioned.

Total brand sales across the portfolio reached €1.48 billion, an increase of 11% year-on-year. The company's managed centres in six European countries attracted nearly 68 million customers during the year, recording an increase of 8.5% year-on-year, it also indicated.

In the outlet centre portfolio, brand sales exceeded the 2022 performance by 12%, maintaining continuous month-on-month growth, with a 9% year-on-year increase in visitors. Brand sales in all six markets exceeded 2022 levels, recording double-digit growth in almost all centres: in the Netherlands +22%, in Germany +20%, in Spain +13%, in Poland +12%, in France +9% , and in Italy +7% , the company reported.

"These results continue an uninterrupted record year for our portfolio since 2017. This is extremely encouraging. What's more, the stable, strong growth recorded over the last few years in Neinver-managed outlets, despite significant market challenges, confirms the success of the offer for customers increasingly seeking benefits and positive experiences. We are developing our business model and innovating with new brands and shopping experiences, which clearly appeals well to our customers," Neinver CEO Daniel Losantos concluded.

Neinver is a Spanish multinational company specialising in construction and real estate investment and management. A leading operator of outlet centres in Spain and Poland, it has two own brands: The Style Outlets and Factory. Founded in 1969, Neinver manages 17 outlet centres and 4 retail parks, working with more than 800 brands in six European countries: France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the Netherlands.
