Aldi: We are accelerating the pace of development in Warsaw and Mazovia in 2021

Aldi will open two new stores in Warsaw in January, located at 1 Hübnera Street and 8 Konesera Square. The chain is accelerating its development and plans further openings in Warsaw and the Masovian Voivodeship, Aldi reported.

"The Masovian Voivodeship is an important region in the development of the network. Currently, the chain has 162 supermarkets in Poland. By the end of December 2020, 25 new Aldi stores appeared, including 3 in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, i.e. in Warsaw at ul. Bacewiczówny, Grodzisk Mazowiecki and Wołomin.

"In 2021, the chain accelerates the pace of development compared to last year and plans further openings in Warsaw and the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The newly opened stores are prepared in accordance with the brand's new visual concept, the leitmotif of which is freshness, visible both in the way the space is arranged and assortment and its display "- it was announced.

According to the chain, the store located in the first cultural and entertainment center in Warsaw, located on the premises of the historic Koneser Vodka Factory (opening on January 20), deserves special attention. There are 15 various restaurants, a creative space for children, museums and art galleries. Many cultural events take place here, such as performances, fairs, concerts, and exhibitions. The second store, scheduled to open on January 27, is located at Hübnera 1 / U3 Street and is the first Aldi in the Żoliborz district. The total area of ​​both stores is over 2,700 m2, including at ul. Hübner, 1,200 m2, at Koneser Square 1,500 m2, is also given.

Aldi is one of the leading retail companies in Europe, according to Deloitte's Global Powers of Retailing 2019 report; it also maintains its position as one of the top 10 retailers in the world.
