Arca Capital has been in negotiations in recent weeks with a secret investor that it claimed was willing to inject capital into the company and save it. Now, writes Hospodarske noviny, it's emerged that the London-based firm Blantyre Capital is willing to step in and save Arca. If true, writes HN, it's preventing the largest ever collapse on the Czech investment market. In a press release, Arca wrote that the two companies had reached "agreement on the key business conditions" under which Blantyre would provide enough "debt financing" to allow for its further development. Blantyre partner Fernando de Santiago wrote in the press release that Arca is "exactly the type of company and management that we like to support." Blantyre Capital describes itself as a company that focuses on "partnering with European companies in relaunching good businesses with temporary financial challenges."
