Serbian engineering group Energoprojekt and state railways operator Zeleznica Srbije have signed a Euro 230m deal for the construction of a railway station in Belgrade, according to Energoprojekt’s director general Vladan Pirivatric.
Energoprojekt as investor is obliged to build a 40,000 sqm railway station, which includes six platforms, 10 rail tracks and the adjacent structures,” Pirivatriæ told a news conference after the signing ceremony late last month.Under the contract, Energoprojekt gets the right to build 128,000 sqm of business area on top of the station building. The company will also build 25,000 sqm under the station roof, while retaining the right to operate 10,000 sqm of it for commercial purposes,...
