Serbian engineering group Energoprojekt and state railways operator Zeleznica Srbije have signed a Euro 230m deal for the construction of a railway station in Belgrade, according to Energoprojekt’s director general Vladan Pirivatric.
Energoprojekt as investor is obliged to build a 40,000 sqm railway station, which includes six platforms, 10 rail tracks and the adjacent structures,” Pirivatriæ told a news conference after the signing ceremony late last month.Under the contract, Energoprojekt gets the right to build 128,000 sqm of business area on top of the station building.
