Austrian textile brand Palmers is expanding to the CEE region, with the recent opening of a store on Havířská street in Prague 1. The 85 sqm unit is operated directly by the parent company and offers quality underwear and swimwear for both men and women. CBRE represented the brand during its entry to the Czech market. Havířská is a prime shopping high-street in Prague’s historic city center, sought after by luxury retail brands as an alternative to upscale Pařížská street, where there is a lack of free retail space. The transaction indicates that the Czech market remains attractive to luxury brands, and there is strong potential in the lingerie segment, said Tomáš Beránek, head of high-street retail at CBRE.
