Ringelsan opened a plant in Pozarevac, eastern Serbia. The Turkish textile company has already employed a staff of 40 and plans to add a total of 1,000 jobs to the local labor force. Ringelsan will manufacture shirts at this plant and export them to Russia and European countries. The production plant is located on a site that used to house a sugar factory, which was purchased by the City of Pozarevac from the Privatization Agency. Ringelsan is the city’s first foreign investor.
