United Group to invest €600m in SEE

Over the next five years United Group is planning to invest more than €600m in the SEE region. This telecoms and media provider will be investing in infrastructure, new jobs and business opportunities. United Group was founded in 2000 by Dragan Solak. In 2004, the investment firm KKR became the majority owner of United Group along with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The company has laid more than 15,000 km of fiber optic cables, supporting 50,000 businesses and 1.7 million homes. It has more than 3,400 employees in the SEE region.
