The developer Jaroslav Třešňák is planning to build a four-star hotel in the northern Bohemian town of Teplice within three years. Idnes.cz reports that he'll erect the building on the site of the former Telecom building, which he purchased and plans to knock down. Třešňák says the 7-floor complex will have a modern design with a glass facade and that its services should meet the requirements of demand customers. At the moment, his team is negotiating with telecommunications officials to transfer the current building's continuing role in the area's telecom infrastructure which did not end with the transfer of ownership. Once this is resolved, the building can be demolished. The design plans for the new hotel, to be built in the center of Teplice on nám. Svoboda, are being prepared by Atelier EIS.
