Erteks is planning to build an eco-leather factory in Arilje, southwestern Serbia. Construction is scheduled to break ground in early 2019. The 3,000 sqm factory will go up on a 2 ha plot provided by the local municipality. The equipment for the new factory has already arrived and is currently being stored in Belgrade. The Turkish company intends to employ about 400 people at the factory. Eighty percent of the production will be exported to Russia and Europe.
