KS Holding begin reconstruction of Riga Mall

KS holding have begun reconstruction on the Galerija Azur shopping center in Riga. The 27,000 sqm mall will contain a flagship Kesko Senukai DIY store featuring a new family friendly shopping concept. The shopping center will also be home to a Rimi Hypermarket. Construction on the site will be conducted by Lithuanian construction company Litana. When completed in the second half of 2019, the shopping center will be renamed Ozol, which translates as Oak. The cost of the project, including the purchase of the current mall is reported to be in the region of €35m. Financing was provided by Luminor bank.
