In the strange world of hotel prizes, one of the more important rankings (at least on the American market) are the Readers' Choice awards of Conde Nast Traveler. The powerful media group provides travel information to upmarket American tourists along with running a portfolio of influential publications. This year's top pick by its readers for the Central Europe region was the Aria Hotel Budapest by Library. In fact, the Hungarian capital's hotels filled 6 of the top 10 spots in the ranking and 7 of the top 15. Vienna managed just three of the top 10 (Hotel Bristol ranked 2nd) and Prague just one: Aria Hotel by Library, while Carlo IV and Hilton Prague Old Town ranked 14th and 15th.
