Orbis to open new Ibis hotel in Bucharest in 2020

Polish hotel operator Orbis is set to open a new property in Bucharest in the third quarter of 2020. The Ibis Politehnica Hotel will offer 160 rooms as well as a restaurant, bar, conference rooms and parking. Located near Bucharest Polytechnic University, the property was developed by Novum Business Services. Orbis is a strategic partner of AccorHotels in Eastern Europe. “With the opening of Ibis Bucharest Politehnica we are further developing our existing AccorHotels portfolio, which currently consists of eleven properties in Romania,” said Frank Reul, head of development of Orbis and AccorHotels in Eastern Europe.
