Lidl completes logistics center in eastern Romania

Lidl has completed its first logistics center in eastern Romania. The 45,000 sqm property, located in Cordun, near Roman and the E85 motorway, serves 50 stores in the Moldovan region. Lidl operates more than 240 stores and five logistics centers in Romania. The German discount retailer employs more than 6,000 people in the country. The new logistics center was developed on a 133,000 sqm plot.
