The expansion is being helmed by the Indian automotive industry supplier’s molded plastics division, Motherson Automotive Technologies & Engineering (MATE), and is expected to cost HUF 5bn. The Hungarian government is contributing HUF 1.5bn to the project, which will add 100 jobs in the local labor market, according to Peter Szijjarto, the minister of foreign affairs and trade.
