The European Bank for Development and Reconstruction will provide €4m for green energy investments in North Macedonia. The funds will be invested through Ohridska Banka AD Skopje, to support energy efficiency improvements like insulation installation in residential buildings, to help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to improve the quality of life for households. Funding will come from the Green Energy Support Program. Implementation is being carried out through the EU-funded Regional Energy Efficiency Program for the Western Balkans in partnership with the Energy Community Secretariat. So far the EBRD has invested over €1.9 billion in more than 110 projects in the country.
