Auchan has opened a supermarket at the Liberty Center shopping center in southern Bucharest. This is the French group’s second supermarket in Romania and its biggest. The space was formerly occupied by Carrefour, which closed its store last year. Covering 2,500 sqm, the new Auchan supermarket is double the size of Carrefour’s store. Auchan offers a range of 14,000 products.
