FLE acquires French Embassy building in Budapest

FLE GmbH has acquired a 1,500 sqm Art Nouveau building in Budapest that currently houses the French Embassy. The purchase was made on behalf of FLE SICAV FIS, a Luxembourg-based fund. The price of the deal was not disclosed. This is FLE’s eighth investment in the Hungarian capital. “Our latest acquisition, the current French Embassy, is an exceptional building in an outstanding location that complements our portfolio perfectly and which we will refurbish in a manner corresponding to its uniqueness,” said Alexander Klafsky, managing partner of FLE GmbH.
