New investment in the Hotel Lazure complex along the Montenegrin coast in Meljine is being planned, with a new building to be constructed behind the existing hotel structure. The new facility will offer more than 150 apartments and rooms, along with a spa center, a swimming pool, massage rooms, yoga saloons, a beach bar and a marina with 156 berths for boats of up to 30m length. The hotel currently employs 16 people.
The 5-star hotel was opened last September after restoration work on the 18th century building was completed. It currently offers 24 rooms. Competitively priced berths at the marina is attracting business away from neighboring Portonovi, Porto Montenegro and Lustica bay, according to hotel sources.
