The web portal Bezrealitky.cz has begun offering complete leasing services for the owners of flats. The daily Hospodářské noviny writes that the country's biggest online site for selling and leasing residential properties is offering clients three months of rent up front, while tenants don't have to pay a commission. Director Hendrik Meyer says his clients often don't have time to take care of the management of their properties properly. He estimates that there are currently 10,000 flats being leased out and that their numbers are growing 10 to 20 percent every year. Meyer is pushing to have at least 500 units under lease by next year. The company will even offer clients a guaranteed rent in return for a 12 percent commission. "That amount should cover the expense of advertising the unit and managing it along with minor repairs and insurance," says Meyer.
