Delta Danube expanding in northern Serbia

The mushroom producer Delta Danube is expanding its factory in industrial zone Kovin in which it's investing €4.5m. The new 15,000 sqm production hall is now under construction on a 1 hectare plot. The company started operations in 2005 and currently employs more than 200 people. Within the existing complex there are currently 14 facilities. The factory cultivates mushrooms and produces 6 tons per day for export. The factory has cutting machines and the mushrooms along with freezing facilities from which the end product is sent to Russia, the Netherlands and Germany. Montenegro
