The Metropolitan office building in Warsaw secured BREEAM Excellent certification. Located on Piłsudskiego street, the property offers 37,000 sqm of class A space in three seven-story buildings. The scheme, designed by Lord Norman Foster, is managed by Colliers International. Metropolitan received an Excellent rating for building efficiency and well as management. “Such a high rating was achieved thanks to the building’s location, facilities for cyclists and the installation of water-saving sanitary utensils and because of special attention paid to the building’s maintenance, the introduction of a number of pro-environmental procedures for property maintenance and management, promoting the reduction of the building's negative impact on the environment and increasing the comfort of users,” said Andrzej Gutowski, green building certification expert at Colliers International, which was responsible for the certification of Metropolitan.
