Wilsons is wrapping up another strong year, having acted for GLL in the largest office transaction of the year, the acquisition of Waltrovka in Prague 5. The Prague-based, independent legal firm also acted for Tesco in several transactions and advised title, share and W&I insurers on almost €2bn worth of insurance policies in six jurisdictions. New clients this year included DRFG and Investika and Wilsons continued to work for Reico, for whom Wilsons acted during the acquisitions of Nova Karolina in Ostrava. Other clients included Lincoln Property, Penta, Amundi and Portland Trust. Wilsons had an outstanding year on the leasing side, representing McDonald's on several transactions as well as Flow East for the Flow Building during its negotiations with Primark. Other prominent lease deals included the one for Time Out, which is bringing its market concept to the Savarin Palac project in downtown Prague. Wilsons also represented Amundi, Portland Trust, Immofinanz, CA Immo, CIB, FID and GLL during lease negotiations.
