Mega Mall has implemented the STEP-HEAR guidance system, becoming the first shopping center in Bucharest that’s accessible to the blind. The system allows people with visual impairments to move more easily in the mall, benefiting from free audio assistance in Romanian. “The Mega Mall door is wide open to anyone and, with this technology, we hope that people with visual impairments will feel more comfortable and able to orient themselves independently,” Mega Mall representatives said in a statement.
