Government's crisis package to help 60,000 Albanians

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced a government assistance package for entrepreneurs, the unemployed and for those who receive social aid from the state. All three of these groups of people will be provided with a salary at a cost of ALL 1,57 billion. Rama said this figure was double the amount the country had planned on spending on the socially disadvantaged during 2020 when the budget was created last year. In all the program is expected to help over 60,000 people.
