GTC lease 2,000 sqm to IKEA and Bershka at Mall of Sofia

GTC Bulgaria have signed agreements with two new tenants – IKEA and Bershka to lease the retail space in the Mall of Sofia. IKEA plans to open its new 1,200 sqm concept in May 2021. The tenant will move in after the modifications, which will coincide with the new office tower, Sofia Tower 2. In May next year, Bershka, a clothing store for teenagers, will also open in the Mall of Sofia. Inditex, the owner of Bershka, signed the lease contract for 800 sqm of retail space.

GTC Bulgaria ended the year with another business venture. A year after signing the office lease agreement at the Advance Business Center, the World Bank expanded its office space by a further 650 sqm, amounting in total . As a result, the World Bank will occupy an area of 4,650 sqm office space in the Advance Business Center Class II office. The Advance Business Center has been pre-certified LEED Gold.

In Bulgaria, GTC currently operates three projects in use – Mall of Sofia, Sofia Tower, and Advance Business Centre I. The company also has two office projects under construction – Sofia Tower 2 and Advance Business Centre II.
