Holcim Croatia to invest Kuna 9.6 mln (approx.EUR 1.28 mln) in low-carbon cement production

Holcim Croatia, a unit of building materials producer LafargeHolcim, will invest Kuna 9.6 million in a project to develop low-carbon cement production.

Approximately 35 percent of the project costs will be a grant from Innovation Norway, the Norwegian government's financial instrument to support development and innovation, according to Holcim Hrvatska.

The project will be carried out at the factory in Koromacno from October 1 to July 31, 2023
and envisages building a closed warehouse for mineral additives and a new transportation system for their dosage and the launch of production of two new brands of low-carbon cement.
