Nestle to invest EUR 140m in Vas County, Hungary

Nestle has started the development of their Buk plant in Vas County. The investment worth EUR 140m is to increase the capacity of their pet food production, and will create an additional 160 new jobs. The investment will take up over 33.000 sqm, and will increase the production capacity to 70 trucks per day for export to 50 countries worldwide. The factory in Buk currently exports not only to European countries, but also North Africa, Asia and Oceania, and presently employs 500 people.
