Romania and Serbia set up a Chamber of Commerce

Serbian Economy Minister, Andjelka Atanaskovic, and Romanian Ambassador in Serbian Republic, Silvia Davidoiu, have agreed to set up a Serbian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce to bring business from both countries together.

Officials also discussed improving general co-operation between the two states, according to a statement from the Belgrade Ministry of Economy. Atanaskovic and Davidoiu agreed that the level of bilateral economic cooperation is good and despite the crisis caused by the pandemic, the volume of trade is growing, reaching EUR 1.82 billion in 2020.

"The establishment of a common Chamber of Commerce is of particular importance. There is also room for improved investment cooperation. This is just the beginning, more work awaits us to meet issues of common interest, " Atanaskovic said.
