Serbia's Zijin Copper and Zidjin Mining are planning $3 billion investments in Serbia

Gian Siming, the general manager of the majority owner of RTB Bor, Zijin Copper, announced that the Chinese company plans to invest 1.26 billion dollars in Serbia. During the meeting with the Minister of Mining and Energy, Zoran Mihajlović, he also stated that the total planned investments and the company Zidjin Mining in Serbia are more than 3 billion dollars. So far, they have invested 640 million dollars in RTB Bor. In addition to activities on the expansion and rehabilitation of plants, they will invest in environmental protection and improve working conditions and safety.

The Minister of Mining and Energy, Zorana Mihajlović, assessed that the investment of the company Zidjin is one of the most important in Serbia. She said that the Ministry is there to support the current projects, investments and plans of the company for environmental protection, and that she wants the projects to be implemented faster and more efficiently.
