SkyCash Poland has started an equity issue in the form of equity crowdfunding and wants to raise up to PLN 4.2 million for the creation of a new platform, development of the service portfolio, including on foreign markets, and projects in the smart city area, the company said.

The share price is PLN 2.5. For active users of the SkyCash application, special prices are foreseen, amounting to PLN 2.25 or even PLN 2 - depending on the user's activity in the application. The dedicated price will be automatically charged after selecting the number of shares that the user wants to buy, stated in the the press release.

Investors will receive 2.1 million new shares. It will be possible to subscribe for shares until March 29, 2021 or until the issue target is achieved. The issue is carried out only in the SkyCash application, in the system prepared by the company, see below.

"We want to offer SkyCash users with over 3 million registered users the latest technological solutions and add new services. Our partners, including cities, will also benefit from faster development, receiving new tools that enable cheaper and faster provision of services to residents" - said President Jarosław Mazek, quoted in the release.

SkyCash reports that it is a long-term leader in the mobile payment industry with over 80%, a market share of payments for parking lots using a smartphone and over 50% market share of payments for city tickets. The company's partners include MasterCard, VISA, PKP IC, PLL LOT or Euronet Polska. SkyCash, as a national payment institution, is under the supervision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (permit number IP41 / 17).

"We want to use our experience and new technologies that we design to enter foreign markets" - added Mazek.

In addition to payments for parking and tickets for public transport and intercity transport, SkyCash has also implemented automatic payments on the A1 Gdańsk-Toruń motorway and on the A4 Katowice-Kraków section, operating on the basis of a videotolling system. The company is also developing services thanks to which you can, for example, take out third party insurance, personal and real estate insurance, pay bills or buy a ticket to the Tatra National Park from anywhere.
