Trei Real Estate Poland, an international developer of commercial and residential real estate, has opened its thirtieth Vendo Park in Poland in Otwock. Property with an area of over 9,000 sqm is also one of the developer's largest retail parks. The retail park in Otwock is the second project implemented under the joint venture agreement signed at the end of 2021 between Trei and the investor Patron Capital. The value of the investment was EUR 12.1 million.

The construction of the retail park in Otwock began in September 2021. Vendo Park was built on a plot of 3.7 ha located at ul. Ryszarda Kuklińskiego 1. Over 9,000 sq m. there are fifteen stores. The tenants include brands such as: Hebe, Media Expert, KiK, Martes Sport, Rossmann and debuting in the city: Netto, Maxi Zoo, Dealz, Sinsay, Action, TEDi, Smyk, Deichmann and kaes. The rich and varied offer has been carefully selected to provide visitors with access to the necessary products and expand local shopping opportunities. Visitors have 320 parking spaces at their disposal, and in addition, in the vicinity of the retail park, there is a Castorama DIY store.

"When selecting tenants, we always carefully analyze the local market and its needs. We are trying to provide local residents with new brands or those that are still at a low level of saturation in a given area. We are observing a significant increase in interest in shopping in convenience facilities. The public became convinced of retail parks during the pandemic, and their popularity is constantly growing, incl. because they allow you to quickly and efficiently purchase the products you need on a daily basis. This is reflected in the increasing number of investments in the retail park sector. This year, we plan to open at least four more projects, including Vendo Park in Skarżysko-Kamienna, where we are already finishing construction," explains Jacek Wesołowski, managing director of Trei Real Estate Poland.

Along with the Otwock project, the developer also took care of the surrounding infrastructure and renovated the road system at Vendo Park and built a roundabout at the intersection of Kuklińskiego and Generalska streets, where there is also a public transport stop. Trei also co-finances the renovation of the sewage treatment plant in Karczew in connection with the planned rainwater discharge.

Trei's cooperation with Patron Capital
Under the joint venture agreement signed at the end of 2021, Patron Capital, a pan-European institutional investor focusing on real estate-backed investments, and Trei Real Estate, an international developer and owner of residential and commercial real estate, will build and manage approximately 20 retail parks in Poland under the brand Vendo Park. The partners plan to invest around € 140 million in the joint venture over the next three to five years. As a result of cooperation, in the fourth quarter of 2021, the facility in Chorzów was opened, and the facility in Otwock is the second in a row. There are also Vendo Parks in preparation in three locations: Łapy, Skarżysko Kamienna and Siedlce.
