Eastend will settle down in the Neon office building in Gdańsk
Eastend has leased nearly 700 sqm of space in the Neon office building in the Alchemia complex in Gdańsk, the developer of which is TORUS. Arrangement has been signed with the current owner of the building for a period of 5 years. The transaction was mediated by Querco Property.
Eastend is an e-commerce group derived from the Tri-City. It has been operating on the market for over 20 years, and its offer includes several dozen top clothing brands from around the world. He is an e-commerce leader and an expert in the streetwear industry in Poland, who constantly strives to develop and opens up to new opportunities, and systematically strengthens its position on the international market. The company's new office in the Neon office building is to create a modern, attractive and friendly work space that will support the further development and expansion of the company.
"The office has been arranged in such a way that it is conducive to coworking, individual and project work in larger groups. The whole thing will be kept in a modern style with a large dose of greenery," says Artur Andriskowski, co-creator of the design of the new office space of the Eastend brand.
The Neon office building, owned by DWS, a global investment manager acting on behalf of one of its real estate funds, has over 35,000 sqm of leasable space (with a typical office floor area of over 3,000 sqm). Slightly over 1.5 thousand sqm are service areas located on the ground floor, which complete the arcade - a meeting and spending place designed between the Alchemia buildings. Just like the previous stages of the complex, Neon is LEED certified at the highest level, Platinum. The building is an architectural and functional complement to Alchemia, which was designed entirely by the APA Wojciechowski Architekci studio.
"We are very proud of the trust that Eastend has placed in us once again. The challenge was considerable due to the large office space and the need to introduce individual arrangement changes. Neon is the optimal choice due to the comfort provided by the A-class standard of space and convenient communication solutions that enable employees to travel to the office every day," comments Filip Janiak, Property Negotiator at Querco Property, an agency intermediating in the transaction.
The commercialization process was handled by Torus, which is also responsible for the project
and arranging the new Eastend office.
"The entire project was unusual for today's times, because it was completed in a record time. Only a few months passed from submitting the offer, through negotiating the contract, to signing it. Our first meeting was very successful and allowed us to build a good partnership relationship between us and our client and the agency representing him. We are also pleased with the openness of Eastend to our arrangement ideas, thanks to which the office itself will be unconventional," said Marcin Piątkowski, Commercialization and Marketing Director at Torus.
Torus is one of the leaders among Polish office developers. So far, including Neon, the company has completed 7 sales transactions of its office properties to 6 different funds (5 Arkońska Business Park buildings and 4 stages of Alchemia) for a total amount of nearly EUR 370 million.
