GetResponse has chosen the Neon office building in Gdańsk as its new 3,000 sqm headquarters
GetResponse has bet on Neon
The world leader in online marketing software, GetResponse, has chosen the Neon office building in Gdańsk as its new headquarters. The company has leased over 3,000 sqm (gross) on the 9th floor of the building developed by the Torus company. The contract with the current owner of the office building, DWS, was signed for a period of 5 years.
GetResponse is a Polish company, producer of world-famous online marketing software dedicated to small and large companies. The beginnings of GetResponse date back 20 years, when the idea of creating easy-to-use and affordable Internet marketing tools was born in the attic of a house in Gdynia. Ease of use and the ability to tailor the tools to your needs, regardless of the industry, have enabled GetResponse to quickly enter the global market.
A few years ago, the company planned to build its own headquarters, called the "wooden office building", at al. Grunwaldzka in Gdańsk, however, the changing situation on the market meant that it finally chose the Neon office building. The new GetResponse office will have an area of 2,762 sq m (net leasable area), will be located on the 9th floor of the building, and will be distinguished by the highest quality interior and finishing design prepared on the basis of in-depth research with the participation of the company's employees. The opening of the new headquarters is planned for November 2022.
"We chose the Neon office building for several reasons," says Szymon Grabowski, owner and CEO of GetResponse. "First of all, it is a modern building that allows you to arrange the space exactly according to our guidelines. Its location is also important - the office building is located in a well-connected point in the Tri-City, making it easy to reach by car, public transport and bicycle. The added value is a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea and a large part of Gdańsk," he adds.
Changing the headquarters of a company that employs nearly 400 people is a complicated operation. However, Grabowski remains an optimist.
"I am sure that the move will be smooth and according to the schedule we have planned. The new office will be a perfect summary of the last years of GetResponse's activity - it will be a unique place on a national scale, with the highest possible standard of workmanship, enabling employees to work in peace in comfortable conditions or to organize larger team meetings, as well as relax at an unprecedented level. We plan to equip our game room with, among others with an interactive treadmill, billiards or a play station. There will also be a nap room, a meditation room, a quiet work zone and a rest zone. I hope that the extended relaxation zone will contribute to the improvement of the overall well-being of our team," concludes Grabowski.
The Neon office building, which is part of the Alchemia complex, belongs to DWS - a global investment manager acting on behalf of one of its real estate funds. The building has over 35,000 sqm of leasable space (with a typical office floor area of over 3,000 sqm). Slightly over 1.5 thousand sq m are service areas located on the ground floor, which complete the arcade - a meeting and spending place designed between the Alchemia buildings. Just like the previous stages of the complex, Neon is LEED certified at the highest level - Platinum. The building is an architectural and functional complement to Alchemia, which was designed entirely by the APA Wojciechowski Architekci studio. Taking into account the agreement with GetResponse, the building is currently leased in over 96%.
The commercialization process was handled by the building's developer, Torus, which is also responsible for arranging the new GetResponse office.
"GetResponse is not only a well-known brand, it is a great success story of a local company that was able to enter the international market with its solutions. We are glad that such a renowned tenant, looking for the highest standards in all aspects of his business, chose the office building we have built," says Sławomir Gajewski, president of Torus.
