Jumbo is preparing its first warehouse in Romania

The Greek retailer of toys and decorations Jumbo has launched hiring for its first warehouse in Romania, in Popești Leordeni, an investment of around EUR 35 million.

Two years ago, Jumbo started the construction of its first warehouse in Romania, on a plot of land bought from Alpha Bank, in Popești-Leordeni. This is the first warehouse developed by Jumbo on the Romanian market.

In Romania, Jumbo increased its business last year, with the 16 locally operated hypermarkets registering cumulative sales of over EUR 200 million.

The latest Jumbo store was inaugurated in November, in Sibiu, and the next hypermarket will be opened in Iasi.
