Viaplay Group and T-Mobile have entered into cooperation on the distribution of the Viaplay streaming platform in Poland, Viaplay Group reported. Starting December 27, 2022, customers using the "Entertainment Unlimited" service will receive access to Viaplay's streaming service.

"Viaplay is a unique streaming service with something for everyone. I'm glad that, as part of the available promotion, also users of the Magenta Home package from T-Mobile will be able to discover our rich offer before the start of the new Formula 1 season. I hope we will meet their expectations and they will stay with us for a longer period of time," said Viaplay Group Chief Commercial Officer, Continental Europe & Baltics Alexander Bastin.

The partnership between Viaplay Group and T-Mobile will give the operator's customers access to live streaming of sports from Viaplay's extensive portfolio, including matches from the Premier League, Bundesliga, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League, EFL Championship, IHF 2023 World Handball Championship, NHL, KSW galas and many more. In addition, Viaplay original series and movie hits await viewers.

Viaplay's streaming platform has been available in Poland since August 2021 and has gained more than one million subscribers to date, it also stressed.

"We want to offer our customers access to the best entertainment services, so we are pleased that Viaplay has joined our 'Entertainment Unlimited' service. With it, our customers are the only ones in the Polish market to enjoy a selection of 6 leading streaming services, which they can change every 30 days. Thanks to Viaplay, they will be able to choose from an even wider range of movies, series, entertainment programs and sports broadcasts," Anna Bienkowska, responsible for the TV and OTT area at T-Mobile Poland.

T-Mobile and Heyah network services are available in nearly 100% of Poland. The first co-founder and now sole owner of T-Mobile Poland is the Deutsche Telekom Group.

Viaplay Group (Viaplay Group AB) is a leading player in the international streaming market. Viaplay's service is available to users in all Nordic and Baltic countries, as well as Poland, the Netherlands and the UK. In 2023, it will also be made available in the United States and Canada.
