A new record for the real estate market in Bucharest

The inhabitants of the Capital bought 26 percent more land, houses and apartments this year than in the first five months of 2021, according to the data of the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising.

Although the first month of 2022 started with declining real estate transactions compared to January 2021, the following months saw an increase in transactions. apartments being considered a better investment than interest on deposits.

In February-May of this year, even more than 14,000 properties were traded monthly on the real estate market. In total, over 57,500 properties were traded in the first five months of this year.
