Albania's SMA Holding to buy N. Macedonia's Studio Moderna

Albania's SMA Holding Sh.p.k has asked for approval to acquire North Macedonia's retailer Studio Moderna from Slovenia's Studio Moderna Holdings Investments, according to the North Macedonian Commission for Protection of Competition.

The public can submit comments on the proposed transaction within ten days from the announcement, the CPC said in a notice.

SMA Holding Sh.p.k is a newly founded company owned by Kosovo-headquartered retailer Viva Fresh. Studio Moderna Holdings Investments is an omni-channel e-commerce and direct-to-consumer platform operating in Central and Eastern Europe.
