The Crescon development company has successfully completed the first phase of the 64-unit luxury Aldrov Apartments & Resort project. The new owners are gradually taking over the apartments. By the end of this year, the company plans to complete the second phase with 75 units, 90% of which have already been sold. According to the developer, the investment appetite in the country is not slowing down and mountain apartments in attractive locations are still one of the most desirable and profitable ways to save free funds. A total of 139 apartments with layouts ranging from 1-bedroom to 5-bedroom apartments will be built in the complex in the Krkonoše Mountains in Vítkovice, which should be ready in the winter season 2023/24. There will be no lack of hotel services and many common areas, such as a sauna world, conference rooms, a massage parlour and a restaurant, which is already open.

The first phase of the Aldrov Apartments & Resort project, which consists of 64 apartments in three buildings, is complete and sold out except for the last few units. Work is currently continuing on the A1 community building with a bakery, wine bar, swimming pool, spa and conference rooms, which is part of the first phase of construction. Crescon plans to have it fully operational during this summer, but a number of services for both owners and guests of the apartments and the general public have already been opened. One of them is the 60-seat Aldrovka restaurant, whose modern wooden interior respects the mountain atmosphere of the Giant Mountains and where meals are prepared mainly with ingredients from local suppliers. Within the main hotel building, the developer has also opened a reception, sports equipment rental, a heated swimming pool and a whirlpool. Other areas - the upstairs wellness area, the attic conference room and a separate building with a Krkonoše pub - are being finalised. "We have invested more than CZK 250 million in infrastructure and services because we wanted not only to provide a perfect hotel service for our clients, but also to expand the facilities for locals and other visitors to this popular Krkonoše mountain resort," says Jan Jerie, director of Crescon.

The second phase of the project is also under construction and will consist of five smaller buildings with a total of 75 apartments. The residential complex will comprise a total of 12 buildings and 139 modern apartments ranging in size from 37 to 149 m², some of which will be adapted to the needs of people with reduced mobility. All of them will be fully equipped, including kitchen, furniture and all interior furnishings. A terrace or balcony is also included. Of course there are parking spaces in the underground garage, a ski room and a cellar for storing seasonal equipment.

Recreational properties in the mountains have long been one of the most popular investment opportunities in the Czech Republic. "Although after the huge demand for holiday properties during the coronavirus, these properties are now falling, this is not the case for new luxury apartments in attractive locations. Interest in second homes in the mountains is also growing as a result of huge inflation. Currently, the apartments in the Aldrov project are in demand especially among creditworthy clients with saved money, who are trying to protect them from depreciation with this investment. Mortgage financing is minimally used," explains Jan Jerie and adds: "Thanks to their location in the Krkonoše National Park, the apartments are suitable for renting throughout the year. When the new owners want to use the property for their own use, they can enjoy first-class hotel services, just like their guests, during the rental period, following the example of the Alpine resorts. The Aldrov project is designed to provide its residents with comfort and a luxurious style of living or recreation. With its unique location in the beautiful countryside and excellent facilities, this resort offers the ideal place for those seeking peace and quiet in the mountains without the extra hassle."

Aldrov Apartments & Resort offers a wide range of sporting activities in both summer and winter. It is located a few metres from the Aldrov ski area in Vitkovice. Ten minutes away by car or ski bus is the popular Špindlerův Mlýn, which by connecting with Hromovka and Svatý Petr has created the largest ski resort in the Czech mountains with a total of 40 km of ski slopes. There is also a wide range of hiking and cycling trails of all levels of difficulty. There are also three golf courses and a rope centre, including one of the highest swings in Europe. There is an artificial climbing wall, a yoga hut or a playground for children right in the resort.
