Allegro introduces same-day deliveries to One Box parcel machines

Starting today, Allegro is introducing same-day deliveries to green One Box by Allegro parcel machines for the 10 largest metropolises, the company said.

"Purchases delivered to the One Box green parcel machines within a few hours of placing an order give residents of the largest cities the opportunity to take advantage of the wide range of products and the most attractive prices that Allegro is famous for, almost eliminating the barrier of waiting for delivery. In this way, we set a new standard of services. Importantly, same-day deliveries are available for Allegro Smart! users free of charge. It is also worth emphasizing that Allegro One Kurier, with a customer satisfaction index of NPS 84, is the best-rated delivery method on our platform," said VP Delivery Experience with Allegro Łukasz Szczepański.

The service is currently available between the ten largest agglomerations: in Warsaw and its vicinity, Poznań, Kraków, Lublin, Łódź, Wrocław, Częstochowa, Bytom, Toruń, Katowice and the cities of the Silesian agglomeration. Shipments carried out by Allegro One Kurier usually reach customers between 18:00 and 22:00. For Allegro Smart customers! the new service - similar to fast door deliveries - is free of charge when shopping for a minimum of PLN 40 from one seller, according to the announcement.

According to a study commissioned by Allegro by Kantar (August 19-22, 2022, N = 200), 71% of Allegro customers would choose to buy with today's delivery instead of going to a brick-and-mortar store or supermarket. 83% of respondents are interested in using the same-day delivery option on Allegro.

Allegro is the number 1 trading platform in Poland. Sales are mainly carried out by companies via the Allegro.pl marketplace e-commerce platform. The value of products sold (GMV) on the group's platform accounted for approx. 3% of the retail market in Poland in 2019. Since October 2016, Allegro belongs to the funds of Cinven, Permira and Mid Europa. The company made its debut on the WSE in October 2020.
