The electro-IT retailer Altex, controlled by businessman Dan Ostahie, is preparing the construction of a new warehouse, with an area of about 50,000 square meters, which will be added to the other two functional warehouses, which together have approximately 86,000 square meters. In addition to the new hall, 148 parking spaces will also be arranged, and the investment is estimated at over EUR 37 million.

In December 2024, the company obtained approval for a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) worth EUR 26.25 million for the construction of the new warehouse.

The new construction will be built on a plot of land with an area of 87,200 square meters, owned by Altex since October 2018.
