Czech e-retailers Alza.cz and Mall.cz are reportedly expanding their logistic centers around Prague. Mall.cz is currently leasing 15,500 sqm of warehouse space in Prague Horní Počernice and plans to add further 7,000 to 8,000 sqm by summer. The server e15 quotes Mall’s spokeswoman Michala Gregorová as saying the company would need up to 50,000 sqm around Prague in order to cover its needs, having seen revenues rise 34 percent to CZK 8bn last year.

Alza.cz is also looking to expand its logistics operations. The e-retailer is currently operating on 14,000 sqm in Horní Počernice and plans to increase the space by more than 40,000 sqm, according to Alza’s spokeswoman Šárka Jakoubková.
