The recovery of the online fashion retailer Zoot continues to gain pace following an agreement with Alza.cz to sell some of its product range. Zoot collapsed nearly two years ago under the weight of hundreds of millions crowns of debt, which were acquired by a subsidiary of the Natland Group. After taking a controlling share in the company, installing crisis managers, and reaching an agreement with the remaining creditors, Natland set about rebuilding the company. The new arrangement with Alza.cz will be handled on a drop shipment basis, under which it will doesn't have to store or handle deliveries of Zoot's goods. Instead, it will simply handle the transactions and pass the orders on to Zoot. Alza board member Petr Bena told the daily Hospodarske noviny "Under the agreement, Alza will act as the seller but it will also provide post-sale service or call center services." The daily notes that before the pandemic, Alza had ruled out getting involved in the fashion and food sectors, but that it's changed its decision on them in the meantime.
