The manufacturer of antibiotics Antibiotice Iasi is planning an investment of RON 200 million for two new factories where sterile products and sterile topical products "made in Romania" could be produced.

"We are still waiting for this financing of RON200 million to be finally approved from government funds, considering the fact that we are the only producer with full Romanian capital. The investment is in a factory of sterile injectable products, sterile solutions, and a factory of sterile topical products. These two factories must also be completed with their own storage and distribution logistics at the national level", said Ioan Nani, the general director of the manufacturer Antibiotice Iaşi.

The company is 53 percent owned by the Romanian state, through the Ministry of Health, and is the largest producer of medicines with Romanian capital.
