Atradius has appointed Claudia Kaiser as Head of Risk Services for the DACH region. She takes over from Michael Karrenberg, who is retiring after 36 years with the company.

Kaiser has been with Atradius and its predecessor, Gerling Speziale Kreditversicherung, since 2000. Over the past 25 years, she has held various roles focusing on automation, artificial intelligence, rating model development, and risk monitoring, as well as managing international teams. She holds a mathematics degree from the University of Cologne and an Executive MBA from Henley Business School in the UK.

In her new position, Kaiser will be responsible for developing risk services across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with an emphasis on enhancing underwriting processes and advancing automation in risk assessment.

Atradius Chief Risk Officer Andreas Tesch said the company looks forward to building on her experience in underwriting, project management, and digitalisation. Kaiser noted that her priority will be to further develop the division and support customers in managing risks in a volatile market environment.
