Baia Mare City Hall invests EUR 4.4 million in the rehabilitation of social housing
Baia Mare City Hall has started an investment program of EUR 4.4 million for the rehabilitation of almost 240 social housing units with 500 tenants. The two blocks included in the European-funded projects of the Baia Mare town hall will have a thermal envelope that will increase energy efficiency by almost 40 percent, through the use of renewable energy sources.
"By the end of 2025, when all the investments will be implemented, the two residential buildings will have a modern street lighting installation, a technological infrastructure for the delivery of hot water or gas on the scale of the block and not in the last row, the whole community will enjoy the new architectural value of the blocks subjected to this rehabilitation process," says the press release sent by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (ADR).
