BauMax Romania names new CEO

Peter Eszenyi will be the new CEO of DIY retailer BauMax Romania from September 1, after having served as director of expansion on the Romanian market for retailers Lidl and Plus. He replaces Nicola Szekely, general manager since 2010.
Eszényi will be responsible for the positioning and developing bauMax on Romania’s DIY market.
BauMax currently has 159 stores in nine countries, including 15 in Romania, 66 in Austria, 24 in the Czech Republic, 15 in Slovakia, 15 in Hungary, four in Slovenia, 7 in Croatia , 7 in Bulgaria in 6 in Turkey.
