The manufacturer of construction materials Baumit wants to build a new factory in Bacău County. The investment amounts to RON 203 million, and for its financing the company applied to obtain the funds from the state through the ConstructPlus program.

The factory would be built in the town of Buhoci in Bacău county, and the state aid contribution would be RON 75 million.

Baumit Romania is among the companies that received a score of 100 points following a first analysis by the Ministry of Economy, along with nineteen other companies. However, not all of them will benefit from funding, as the files are currently being reanalyzed.

The company owns three dry mortar factories, in Teiuş (Alba county), in Bolintin Deal (Giurgiu county) and in Şag (Timiş county), as well as a paint and plaster factory in Bucharest.
