BayWa r.e., a German company developing a large-scale photovoltaic project in Giurgiu county, bought a photovoltaic park in Constanța, developed by the White Gate Industrial Park company, controlled by several local entrepreneurs.

"In the context of climate change, the development of renewable energy projects is essential. Romania has a huge potential in the field of solar energy and it is vital to capitalize on these resources to ensure a cleaner and more sustainable future. The acquisition of this photovoltaic park by BayWa r.e. marks an important step in the consolidation of renewable energy infrastructure in Romania. We are glad that we had the opportunity to work with the BayWa r.e team in this transaction and we thank them for their trust," said Ioana Roman, partner and coordinator of the Real Estate department at Filip & Company, the law firm that assisted BayWa r.e Romania in the process of purchasing the photovoltaic park.
