Beltrame invests EUR 300 million in steel-concrete and rolled wire plant in Romania

The Italian Beltrame Group is investing EUR 300 million to build an eco-intelligent steel-concrete and rolled wire plant in Romania. This will be the first greenfield project in Europe in the last decades in steel production. The company is currently considering several construction sites.

The production unit will include a steel plant and a rolling mill, as well as a photovoltaic park with a capacity of 100 MW. The plant will have a production capacity of approximately 600,000 tons / year of steel - concrete and rolled wire.
