Brasov Airport to open in November this year

Brasov - Ghimbav International Airport will be operational starting with November 1 this year, according to Brasov County Council. A traffic of 300,000 passengers is expected for the first year of operation. The representatives of the Brasov County Council are in talks with the air operators that could operate at the airport in Brasov. Among the companies that could fly from Brasov airport are TAROM National Company, Blue Air, WIZZ Air, Lufthansa, LOT, Turkish Airlines, El Al, Air Bucharest, according to Alexandru Anghel, the executive director of the Airport Implementation Department within Brasov County Council.
